The Job Role
- Efficiently able to handle post fixtures operations such as negotiating claims and respond timely to e-mails
- Ensuring all claims are properly submitted to Owners / Charterers within timeline
- Liaising with Owners / Charterers to provide dispute resolution and negotiation for settlement
- Will assist to send regular chasers to Owners / Charterers for agreements and responses
- Ensuring all the claims are correctly and accurately updated into the data system
- Generating demurrage reports from the system
Requirements
- Min 2 years relevant working experience in Tanker Claims (For position 1)
- 1 year experience or Fresh graduate from the Maritime background (For position 2)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, proactive, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Basic understanding of the Charter Party and Shipping Terms
