Job Description
- Manage a portfolio of property and casualty claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Investigate and assess the validity and coverage of claims, analyzing policy terms and conditions
- Collaborate with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for claims resolution
- Negotiate and settle claims within authorised limits, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved
- Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing your expertise and best practices
- Maintain accurate claims records and documentation, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes related to property and casualty claims
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of claims management strategies
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in relevant field
- Good facultative knowledge
- Experience in propriety or non propriety knowledge is preferred
- Experience in reinsurance claims is preferred
