We are a ship chandler company looking for a responsible Class 4 Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods or materials, ensuring timely delivery, and adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy vehicles (Class 4 license required)
- Loading goods onto the truck, ensuring safe transportation and proper handling
- Collection of goods and empty bins from the terminal
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of all road users
- Maintain delivery records
- Assist with other jobs as and when required
- Salary: Basic $2800 - $3200 + Incentives up to Gross $3500 - $5000
Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 driving license
- Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver, preferably in a similar role
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Good time management skills
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of goods
