Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the nursing home, including residents rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and kitchen.
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitized, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with waste management, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recycling.
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment and assist with other sanitation tasks as required by nursing staff.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or concerns regarding the cleanliness of the facility.
- Support the creation of a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for both residents and staff.
- Ensure that supplies and cleaning materials are properly stored and used efficiently.
- Adhere to all Charis Manor's policies and procedures regarding health and safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
Qualifications
- At least a GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or cleaning role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks and handling equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety standards is an advantage.
