DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consultant Pathologist as CGO will be responsible for the followings: -
- To be the license holder while providing clinical & technical guidance to the operation of the laboratory
- To provide professional consultation and diagnostic services in the stated field of specialization in a manner that places ethical and professional obligations to the patient or customer as foremost importance.
- To ensure that the quality of work and professional services provided to Pathlab customers are of the highest standard, appropriate and consistent and to maintain good level of communication with clients that serve to enhance the diagnostic services rendered.
- To permit Pathlab the use of the doctor's name and credentials to be stated as the
- Company's Consultant Pathologist on the test reports covering cytology and PAP smears.
- To work closely with all the department personnel and also to liaise with other Pathologists and Managers and Staff within the Pathlab Group pertaining to the services to doctors.
REQUIREMENTS
- A locally registered Pathologist who has the relevant higher qualification and training in the clinical laboratory disciplines.
- Possess a degree in medicine and relevant qualification or certification in pathology awarded by a professional board that is acceptable to DMS (e.g. American Board Certification, MRCPath, (FRCPath), FRCPA, AACB, ABMM, DABCC, Chartered Scientists (CSci.)
- Minimum 5 years qualifying working experience in a clinical laboratory acceptable
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
Saturday: 8.30 am to 1.00 pm
