Overview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated Clinical Operations Intern (HSCT & CT) to join our dynamic Ops & Admin team in National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). This role focuses on developing patient information booklets for our Stem Cell Transplant and Car-T Therapy programs and supporting the establishment and management of patient support groups.

Responsibilities
1. Patient Information Booklets Development:
- Conduct thorough research on Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant (Home-based) and Car-T Therapy to gather relevant information.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to obtain accurate and up-to-date information about treatment processes, patient care, and follow-up protocols.
- Draft, revise, and finalize engaging and informative patient information booklets, ensuring content is patient-friendly and medically accurate.
- Manage the review and approval process of booklet content with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines and patient care ethics.
- Gather feedback from patients, care givers and healthcare providers and make necessary revisions to improve the booklet's effectiveness.
2. Event Management for Patient Support Groups:
- Design and implement new patient support groups specific to our Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant and Car-T Therapy programs.
- Promote the support group to Transplant patients through various channels, including healthcare providers, social media and community events.
- Coordinate with the clinical operations team to plan and execute events, including scheduling, venue selection, and participant registration.
- Handle logistics for events, including material preparation, technology setup, and on-site coordination.
- Manage publicity and communications for patient support group activities to maximize patient participation and engagement. This includes working with Corporate Services department to craft promotional materials, update social media, and outreach through email newsletters.
- Collect feedback post-events to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
3.Admin Support for Ops & Admin team
- Provide other administrative support to supervisor and team members to ensure smooth daily operations and provide required support to meet assigned project/task timeline
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and sensitivity to the emotional and psychological needs of patients and care givers.
- Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Prior experience in event management or patient education is a plus.
