Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our consulting clients team and drive the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions on AWS.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services, DevSecOps practices, and experience with cloud migration from self-hosted to SaaS platforms. This role involves designing resilient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures, supporting the migration of applications, and implementing DevSecOps pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Architecture: Develop robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions using AWS services, aligning with the organization's goals and performance requirements.
- Infrastructure Management: Configure and manage core AWS services such as EKS, ECR, IAM, API Gateway, Lambda, CDN, WAF, VPC, and TGW to meet application and infrastructure needs.
- DevSecOps Implementation: Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices using tools like Jenkins (Cloudbees), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Fortify WebInspect, Snyk, Jira SaaS, Bitbucket SaaS, and Confluence SaaS.
- Migration Planning and Execution: Lead and support migrations from self-hosted platforms (Platform A) to SaaS solutions (Platform B), ensuring smooth transition and minimal downtime.
- Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
- Documentation and Team Collaboration: Create comprehensive documentation of architecture and processes; work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud strategy across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud Services Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, ECR, IAM, API Gateway, Lambda, CDN, WAF, VPC, and TGW.
- DevSecOps Proficiency: Skilled in setting up and managing DevSecOps pipelines using Jenkins (Cloudbees), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Fortify WebInspect, Snyk, Jira SaaS, Bitbucket SaaS, and Confluence SaaS.
- Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from self-hosted platforms to SaaS environments.
Desirable Skills:
- Managed File Transfer Knowledge: Basic familiarity with Managed File Transfer (MFT) systems.
- Integration Platforms: Understanding of MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in AWS and DevSecOps tools.
