Job Description
The JAPAC Cloud Engineering Center of Excellence (CE CoE) is a divisional organization across Japan and Asia Pacific whose role is to accelerate consumption of Oracle Cloud Services by providing a world-class customer experience on the Oracle Cloud. Customers will have access to cutting edge and deep technical subject matter expertise and solutions across their technical lifecycle of Incubate to Implement. The primary mission of the CoE teams is to be help customers to move their workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and playing the role their engineering partner.
We are looking for passionate learners who want to be part of a dynamic culture and drive the next phase of our AI growth initiatives such as the intended collaboration with AI Singapore.
The role requires you to:
- Engage cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, and DevOps teams to align Oracle's AI offerings with evolving business and technical needs.
- Be part of the team to drive building innovative experiences in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Be part of the CoE engagements lifecycle Incubate to Implement - Build PoCs, Demos and working solutions for customer engagements using Oracle OCI services
- Learn and present Oracle Cloud offerings to customers
- Translate customer requirements into working solutions on OCI
- Protype and experiment using new technologies and frameworks in the fast moving AI and Data space

Responsibilities
Requirements - Technical
Architecture and Programming Knowledge Hands-on programming knowledge in any of the following is required - Python, Java, Go, C/C++. Some hands-on skills on frameworks and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, Springboot, Node.JS is preferred. An understanding of Architecture and Design of systems using Object Oriented and Relational methodologies is good to have.
AI/ML/Data Science Knowledge General understanding of AI/ML/Data Science technologies. Awareness and exposure to ML Algorithms such as Classification, Regression and other supervised, semi-supervised, un-supervised and Deep learning is a value add. A basic level of GenAI concepts such as Transformers, RAG will be useful. Data Science concepts and practical use of tools such as Jupyter notebooks is a plus.
ML Pipelines: Understanding of how ML pipelines are built and the different stages involved Data Collection, Data Extraction, Data Cleansing, Storage and Analytics
Cloud: Exposure to the basic of cloud technology on any of the Hyperscale Cloud platforms OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP
