We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for helping clients navigate their cloud adoption journey. You will work closely with customers, IT stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement tailored cloud solutions, ensuring the successful migration and modernization of enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Adoption & Roadmap Creation: Leverage the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) to design and implement migration and modernization strategies that align with customers business goals.
- Solution Architecture: Architect end-to-end cloud solutions, ensuring technical viability, performance efficiency, security, reliability, and cost optimization. Focus on key infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows/Linux IaaS, Security, Networking) and application development/DevOps technologies (e.g., App Service, containers, serverless, cloud-native).
- Collaboration: Partner with other Cloud Solution Architects and stakeholders to develop complex solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Design Sessions: Facilitate Architectural Design Sessions to build implementation plans that align with customers technical environments and business needs, ensuring a clear path to production deployment.
- Customer Advocacy: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customer IT decision-makers, guiding them through cloud adoption and empowering them to become cloud advocates within their organizations.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Address technical challenges, demonstrating the value and effectiveness of Azure technologies in solving customer issues.
- Proof-of-Concepts: Use CAF Landing Zones to rapidly prototype and deliver proof-of-concept solutions, accelerating production deployment timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud solution architecture, cloud migrations, or a related technical role.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications in one or more of the following areas:Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP)
Data Analytics, Security, Networking, or Cloud-Native Application Architecture
DevOps & CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure Developer Services)
Containers & Orchestration Systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP, and familiarity with hybrid cloud networking and cloud-native security technologies.
- Tools & Frameworks: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Large-scale Application Portfolio Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise-scale application environments, including the migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Business Acumen: Ability to clearly articulate the technical and business value of cloud services to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Proven track record of leading Assessment & Discovery workshops, designing scalable cloud architectures, and successfully implementing solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver value-driven solutions.
