The Cluster Assistant Accountant assists the Cluster Accountant in the supervision of the Hotel finance office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger reconciliation.
What will I be doing
As the Cluster Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards for both Hotel properties - Conrad Centennial Singapore and Conrad Singapore Orchard:
Accounts Receivable
Review and assist in the activities of accounts receivables including billing of accounts, preparation and mailing of statements, posting of payments, advanced deposits and refunds.
Review, verify and balance daily postings of charges to proper accounts.
Preparing month end reconciliation process, prepare and distribute hotel/corporate reports.
Revenue Audit
Review and analyse all adjustments done for daily revenue.
Review of daily revenue reconciliation for festive activities and ad-hoc events such as F
Preparing month end reconciliation process and distribute required hotel/corporate reports.
Credit
Extend credit to group and catering clientele and perform necessary background check in order to make credit-worthiness decision.
Establish and implements hotel credit/collection procedures, maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.
Review bad account write-offs and initiates placement with collection agency.
Prepare and chair monthly credit meeting.
Others
Perform control checks as mandated by Hilton's policies and procedures and SOX requirements for the sections mentioned above.
Work with Cluster Accountant and assist in the supervision and training of Accounts Officers when necessary.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
Good organizational skills, attention to details and good interpersonal skills.
Flexible with working hours and able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
Proficient in English to meet business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
