Job Scope:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
- Develop and modify CNC programs to ensure precision machining
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary for quality control
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize manufacturing processes
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance
- Train and mentor junior machinists or operators as needed
Requirements:
- Professional certificate, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in precision manufacturing or the semiconductor industry
- Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus
- Candidates without experience but eager to learn will also be considered
- Hardworking, organized, responsible, and able to work independently
- Positive work attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Capable of working under tight schedules and meeting production deadlines
- Willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Able to do shift work
- Immediate availability or short notice to start work
- Training and shift allowance provided
