Key responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to customers in order to solve technical issues and ensure that the specification is followed.
Provide service to customers as required and as agreed regarding paint application.
Good, professional and on time reporting according to SOP and/or other requirements.
Observe the rules of Hempel specifications, SOP and other Services documentation.
Observe the rules of Hempel quality.
Work according to Hempel Coating Advisors Safety Handbook
Key tasks:
Provide pre-sales and /or post-sales technical support to customers, including testing and maintaining products, equipment, and services.
Monitor and resolve recurring application problems to ensure on-going customer satisfaction.
Advising on complex and bigger projects.
Advise customers on the features and application of the products they purchase if needed.
Quality and timely reporting in digital system (good Digital skills required).
Provide support to sales team in regards to the technical aspects of the companys products and / or services.
Ensure completion of needed reports with quality and on time in accordance with SOP's.
Follow all guidelines and Group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment
Required education, experience and job-related skills:
Minimum ITE or GCE O or Diploma.
Strong customers focus and orientation.
Valid driving license.
Previous experience in delivering coating services as paint manufacturer technical service representative, yards shipwright or applicator would be valuable.
Knowledge of the paint sector preferably but not required.
Singapore car license or motorcycle license required.
Willingness to travel abroad within short notices without passport restriction.
FROSIO or NACE certification preferably but not required.
Computer skills (MS programs).
Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way both verbally and in writing in English.
