Commercial Executive

Job Summary:

Our client, one of the leading offshore and renewable energy sectors are growing and is currently hiring for a Commercial Executive to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible to prepares estimates using the following documents as reference: Quotations received from suppliers and contractors, Shipyards tariffs established on standard repairs and services, Man-hour tabulation for certain standard or similar repairs, and Historical Database of suppliers and subcontractors prices.
• Go on-board vessels for inspection to clarify and verify the scope of work when needed.
• Study the Owner's terms and conditions, insert exclusion clauses and to counter-propose.
• In consultation with the Department Manager (if required), to advise on the repair and docking duration. This shall be part of the tender submission.
• If required by the Owner, prepares a preliminary project schedule after consult with Production Department, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent in marine, mechanical or electrical engineering
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in shipyard or offshore industry.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• You may be required to travel oversea to shipyard for vessel's inspection or project discussion.
