Job Description

Estimating:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, along with the final bid documents (tenders), for various types of vessels.
• Conduct vessel inspections when necessary and engage with Owners Representatives to discuss technical and commercial details.

Invoicing:

• Monitor vessels drydocking and repair activities in the yard.
• Discuss technical and commercial aspects with Owners Representatives, negotiate and finalize variation orders, and manage invoicing.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or relevant training in a reputable shipyard or offshore industry.
• Assertive and courteous personality, with strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Technical expertise and prior experience in a similar role within the shipping or offshore industry, or sea-going experience.
• Willingness to travel overseas occasionally, including visits to shipyards for vessel inspections and project discussions.
