Our client, one of the biggest technology companies in Asia, is looking for a Commercial Strategy & Growth Manager. You will be responsible for conducting deep analysis to understand market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive impactful decisions. Your insights will influence the long-term vision and business models of our client, making this a highly strategic and high-impact position.
In this role, you will get to:
Lead Strategic Business Analysis
Develop a deep understanding of the department's business strategy and long-term vision, translating it into actionable insights for our clients business models.
Perform complex analyses independently, identifying key data points and extracting insights related to the competitive landscape, customer behavior, product metrics, and industry trends.
Be accountable for the team's analyses and decisions, providing recommendations for course-correction based on business performance.
Oversee Business Performance and Project Execution
Lead the execution of strategic business initiatives, overseeing business performance, and ensuring profitability across multiple projects.
Collaborate with Product, Market Managers, and Partnership Managers to identify key levers for achieving business performance goals.
Develop or revamp business, operating, or commercial models for external partners, enhancing revenue streams through thoughtful commission and incentive structures.
Partner with Internal and External Stakeholders
Provide analytical support in negotiations with internal divisions and external partners to review business arrangements and commercial contracts.
Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals and smooth execution of business initiatives.
Support the team in building strong capabilities in analysis, establishing systems for documenting market knowledge, and ensuring excellence in business operations.
You'll be successful if you have:
Experience in top-tier management consulting, multinational tech, investment banking, or advisory services.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from a leading local or international university (minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale). An MBA is a plus.
Strong financial acumen with proven ability to develop complex financial models and projections, incorporating sensitivity analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead discussions, identify problems, and evaluate solutions effectively.
Quick to learn and adapt to new industry knowledge, with a strong passion for driving results.
