Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning (Cx) Engineer - Electrical, Data Centre MEP

Role: Supports the lead electrical commissioning engineer in performing testing and validation of electrical systems critical for data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute electrical system testing, including functional tests of UPS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, and emergency power systems.

Document test results and assist in producing comprehensive commissioning reports for electrical systems.

Support troubleshooting efforts during commissioning to resolve any performance issues in critical power systems.

Ensure that electrical components are installed and functioning according to design specifications and operational needs of a mission-critical data center.

Work closely with the lead electrical engineer to ensure all electrical systems meet performance, safety, and redundancy standards.

Skills Required: Knowledge of electrical systems in data centers, experience with testing high-voltage and backup systems, attention to detail, and technical documentation skills.
