- Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels
- Perform maintenance works onboard vessels in shipyard occasionally
- Perform maintenance works on shore-based systems
- Perform defect troubleshoot till module/card level onboard vessels or shore-based systems
- Perform repairs to modules and PCBA in workshop
- Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems
- Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies
- Perform technical admin work including quotations, closing jobs, service reports, etc.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree on Electronics Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering/ Digital and Network Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/IT/Software
- RSN maintenance training certifications would be considered.
Experience: (would be advantageous)
- Working knowledge and experience working in on-board commercial and military vessels on Communications and Electronics systems
- Window or Linux OS administration (installation and troubleshooting) experience
- Working knowledge and experience on computer systems
- Understanding maintenance regime and basic experience in troubleshooting system till card level.
- Training would be provided if necessary.
