Job Description

As our client continue to expand and innovate, they are seeking a dynamic Compensation and Benefits Specialist to contribute to the HR team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of HR practices, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment, and is ready to enhance our compensation and benefits functions.

Role Summary:

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will play a key role in supporting our HR function by managing and optimizing compensation structures, benefits programs, and other reward strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical and strategic thinking to ensure our offerings remain competitive and attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Management:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining compensation structures, job grading, and salary bands to align with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary reviews to ensure competitive positioning within the luxury sector.
  • Prepare compensation data and analyses to support HR planning and budget forecasting.

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee and administer employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, leave policies, etc.), ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and stakeholders to optimize benefit offerings and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Communicate benefits changes and updates effectively to employees.

Policy Development & Compliance:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies related to compensation, benefits, and rewards.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant labor laws and regulatory standards in Singapore.

Employee Engagement & Support:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees on compensation and benefits-related queries, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to support employee engagement initiatives and improve the overall employee experience.

Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports and analyses on compensation, benefits utilization, and overall HR expenses.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably within the luxury, retail, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data accurately.
  • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HRIS systems

  • Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Base salary ranges up to $6,500 / month, depending on experiences.
