Draft the policies and procedures relating to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and Data Protection Trust Mark (DPTM) certification as required.
Analyze draft regulations, circulars (if any) and prepare feedback to the regulators.
Build and maintain key regulatory relationships as part of the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) working group.
Keep abreast of changes affecting the BNPL code of conduct and be the key person-in-charge to effect these changes.
Compliance
Monitor audit timelines for external and internal audits as well as liaise with the stakeholders responsible for completing the audit.
Responsible for the audit rectifications in the audit report.
Prepare monthly Compliance related reports and metrics for senior management.
Assess regulatory impact on operations and develop mitigation strategies.
Share best practices during compliance incidents as well as provide Compliance risk assessments.
Provide compliance advisory and assessment to the Business team when required.
Administrative
Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and regulators.
Assist in drafting policies, standard operating procedures, presentations, and memos as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree/certification preferred (e.g., CRCM, CCEP, CAMS).
1 - 2 years work experience in Risk, Audit, Business or similar role
Experience in compliance risk and project management, payments, or banking industry is preferred.
Experience with the BNPL or Credit industry preferred
