(A)Essential Job Functions:
The Construction Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Review and prepare method statements for submission to the client.
- Manage a construction project team and oversee the construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed construction program.
- Ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
- Monitor ongoing site activities and ensure work runs smoothly.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and different authorities on the project's activities.
- To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned.
(B)Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent, preferably recognized by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Proficient in both MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
- At least 15 years working experience and 8 years experience in managing civil engineering project.
(C)Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
- Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards.
- Working knowledge of general construction, especially in civil engineering project.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time.
- Ability to analyse and synthesize complex issues quickly.
- Able to work overtime and be on standby when required.
