CONSULTANT (SENIOR ANALYST/ASSOCIATE), HEALTHCARE, GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS, SINGAPORE

As a growing advisory firm, the V&P team is looking to expand. We are seeking a consultant (Senior Analyst/Associate level) with expertise in the healthcare sector to join our Singapore office. Candidates should have an interest in the healthcare sector, government affairs, public policy, and politics. They should be an effective coordinator, researcher, analyst and writer, with strong communication and organizational skills. JOB DETAILS

  • Senior Analyst/Associate position at Vriens & Partners
  • Full-time, with competitive remuneration and benefits
  • Based in V&P's Singapore office, with appropriate work-from-home arrangements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting and coordinating the Singapore office's research and advisory, stakeholder management, business, and team development activities particularly as they relate to the healthcare sector.
  • Carrying out desk and primary research on a wide variety of healthcare, political and economic issues, as well as identifying industry and sectoral-specific challenges.
  • Conducting primary research on healthcare issues through engagement with government agencies and relevant stakeholders such as academics and non-profits.
  • Drafting and preparing analytical reports, meeting notes, memos.
  • Liaising and coordinating with government agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four to six years of relevant work experience, preferably doing healthcare related work in government or with government.
  • Knowledge and interest in healthcare, political, and economic matters in Singapore.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare challenges and opportunities in Southeast Asia is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of administrative systems and protocol of the Singapore Government.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Proactive, eager to develop existing knowledge and skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-cultural settings and in a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Other Southeast Asian languages are a bonus.
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a relevant field, i.e. public health/health-related subject, economics, or public policy. An advanced degree is a value-add.
