About the role

We currently have a secondment opportunity with our client, a global financial institution, for a lawyer with 2-8 years post-qualification experience in funds, particularly in areas such as fund formation, fund distribution, fund-related regulation, corporate trusts, and have familiarity with Singaporean banking regulations and securities law. As part of a larger team, the role includes supervising juniors and requires strong project management experience as well strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Requirements

• A right to reside in Singapore
• Qualification to practice in Singapore
• A minimum of two years post-qualification experience at a top tier international or local law firm in your area of expertise
• Strong technical knowledge and experience, ideally with some Asia experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant
• Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and external
• Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
• Strong commercial/business acumen
• Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible
• Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy
