Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and inspiring Part-Time Contemporary Dance Teacher to lead dynamic classes for teens and adult students. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, the ability to choreograph original pieces, and the flexibility to work with a diverse age range and skill levels. This role will also involve preparing students for competitions, providing them with the skills to succeed in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

. Plan and teach contemporary dance classes for teens and adult students.

. Develop creative choreography for performances and competitions.

. Prepare students for dance competitions, including rehearsals, stage presence, and competition choreography.

. Motivate and inspire students to improve their dance technique and express themselves.

. Maintain a safe and positive class environment.

. Collaborate with the team for school events, performances, and curriculum development.

Requirements:

. Strong background and training in contemporary dance.

. Experience teaching contemporary dance to teens and adults.

. Ability to create innovative choreography for performances and competitions.

. Experience preparing students for dance competitions and understanding competition requirements.

. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:

. Part-time position, with classes scheduled based on studio needs and student demand.
