Controls Engineers optimize plant operations, leveraging analytical prowess to enhance productivity and product quality. You will be responsible to maintain equipment, analyze processes for efficiency gains, and collaborate across departments to implement improvements. Your role is critical in ensuring smooth plant operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Provide technical support for the control systems of both on-site and off-site chemical and gas distribution equipment.
Deliver comprehensive after-sales services, including troubleshooting support ranging from basic to advanced levels.
Collaborate with affiliates to address equipment-related inquiries and follow-up tasks.
Demonstrate proficiency in identifying and resolving hardware and software issues within control systems, independently implementing corrective measures.
Successfully fulfill all assigned training sessions and tasks.
Strengthen local customer support capabilities in control systems.
Review and analyze SCADA graphics effectively.
Assist in conducting loop and interlock tests for new processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
Contribute to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
Possess familiarity with FM Global, AIGA, SEMI technical design requirements, and compliance standards.
Are you a MATCH
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering or equivalent field.
Possess a minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience in chemical process operations or production will be an advantage.
Proficient in chemical properties and adept at interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
Experienced with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) will be an advantage.
Familiarity with various control system software such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Telemecanique will be an advantage.
Exhibit strong teamwork, communication skills, and a positive work ethic, capable of problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
Availability to travel to different client sites across Singapore when required.
