Job Description
1. To assist and receive instructions from Demi Chef / Chef De Partie in running
the station in the kitchen
2. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary
food handling practices.
3. To produce the highest quality of Preparation and managing waste.
4. Season and cook food according to recipes of the hotel.
5. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using
methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
6. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgement,
using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
7. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to guest. To ensure that food
produced is consistently of the highest quality.
8. Ensure that chillers are organised in an effective and efficient way.
9. Ensure all training within your department is attended without fail.
10. Ensure all food is cooked according to the standards of the hotel and to the
F&B SOP.
Job Requirement
1. Able to read and write simple English
2. Must be certified in Basic Food Hygiene
3. Able to work shift
4. Applicant with more year of service will be consider for higher position
5. Able to work in Aqueen Hotels
