Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare food for production, e.g. chopping vegetables, meat cutting, sauce preparation, packaging and distribution
Follow the daily food production schedule to ensure the correct quantities of food are prepared and sent to the stores- Cook and prepare food items in accordance to recipes
Ensure there is little wastage in food preparation
- Ensure proper hygiene are practiced based on Food Safety and Hygiene Standards and proper storage methods are followed
Ensure areas of responsibility are clean, tidy and organised
- Experience and Qualifications
Certificate in Culinary Skills- Preferably with some experience working in a Central Kitchen
Knowledge in various cooking procedures and methods
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Personality and Competencies/Skills
Ability to work as a team, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
