Corporate Banking Intern

As an intern with Corporate Banking, you will have to work with the senior staff and support in implementing and updating processes to improve the data quality for regulatory reporting.

There will be opportunities for you to expose to regulatory and operational risk aspect of Corporate Banking by assisting tasks under Business Risk and Compliance.

In addition, you will also assist in ad-hoc projects that are assigned to Corporate Banking.

Below are some of the tasks / responsibilities during your internship:

(i) Assist in performing sample checks to ensure compliance to regulatory and operational risk aspects of the department

(ii) Assist to implement checking process in ensuring data in core banking system are updated correctly as per Corporate Banking's source data;

(iii) Assist to ensure the tracker for projects are updated promptly;

(iv) Assist to update templates and processes within Corporate Banking;

(v) Assist in any other projects or work as assigned to Corporate Banking.

By the end of the internship, you will be able to have an overview of how customer information is obtained during customer onboarding and how the information is accurately maintained in the core banking system. In addition, you will be able to gain knowledge on AMLCFT and some regulatory aspects.
