Corporate Banking RM, Agnostic
Our client, a leading bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager (RM) to join their corporate banking team
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients across a diverse range of industries, providing customized financial solutions to meet their needs.
- Originate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements, and offering appropriate banking products and services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic financial advice and developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Cross-sell the bank's products and services, including loans, trade finance, cash management, treasury products, and foreign exchange solutions.
- Prepare and present credit proposals, conducting financial analysis and risk assessments to ensure that proposed transactions meet the bank's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of deals and delivery of services.
- Monitor client accounts and ensure compliance with credit agreements, identifying and addressing any potential risks to the bank.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments, using this knowledge to advise clients on financial strategies and anticipate their future needs.
- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, client interactions, and business development activities for senior management.
- Drive client retention and satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with senior management and the corporate banking team to meet revenue targets and contribute to the bank's overall growth strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIB) is a plus.
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in corporate banking or commercial banking, with a proven track record of managing and growing client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, including loans, working capital finance, trade finance, treasury solutions, and cash management.
- Experience in preparing credit proposals, conducting financial analysis, and performing risk assessments.
