Team Intro
The Real Estate Business Partner (BP) and Communications team is a global team in our Real Estate and Facilities department at ByteDance. The team aims to support key real estate strategies and communications that align with the business unit's work needs, growth objectives and employee experience standards. Our team leverages data-driven insights, industry expertise, and collaborative partnerships to support our company's real estate portfolio and business operations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Understand global workplace resources and understand work dynamics of different departments/business units in ByteDance.
- Partner with business units to analyze and interpret business needs. Co-work with the planning team to realize the business needs to a reasonable extent considering aspects such as space effectiveness, costs, team collaboration, etc.
- Facilitate workplace resources allocation and organize office relocation projects to ensure smooth landing and business operations after the movement.
- Monitor the workspace resources dashboards and summarize the insights with stakeholders.
- Identify business development trends in the workplace and work with relevant teams to provide efficient solutions.
Minimum requirements
- Experience in a business partnership role or a similar role.
- An excellent communicator with a strong ability to build strategic partnerships with different stakeholders.
- Great analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Good project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Solid insight into the real estate industry, market dynamics, and legal regulations.
- Able to travel and to communicate across time zones.

- Experience of working in a diversified environment with a workforce of different backgrounds.
- Creative and strategic thinker, and where required able to resolve navigationally complex scenarios.
- Problem solver, with the ability to strive to find solutions and improve processes in face of ambiguity.
