Responsible for the accurate processing of month end journals (inventory related) and inventory reconciliation, including analysis of Excess & Obsolete inventory and reserve.
Tracks excess and obsolete inventory elimination by reconciling/reviewing transactions to supporting documentation.
Reviews and analyzes inventory breakdown on a weekly basis and highlights exposure.
Analyzes inventory revaluation at quarter end.
Assists with annual physical counts and cycle counts, including preparation, cutoffs, audit of counts and reconciliations.
Performs system costs update on a weekly basis.
Reviews and ensures that inventory transactions are approved and performed in accordance with Finance policies and procedures.
Generates and publishes labor efficiency reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
Analyzes overhead data and provides explanations for variances.
Assists with preparation of month/quarter-end management reports.
Assists with fixed assets maintenance including additions and disposals.
Prepares CAPEX forecast on monthly basis including reconciliation to actual.
Assists with US GAAP, SOX and statutory audits.
Job requirements
Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficient in MS Office applications
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems
Detail oriented with strong analytical skill
Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
