The Country Finance Business Partner is a key local role, providing robust and insightful decision support to CFO and management team to enable delivery of our financial objectives at both operational and strategic level. The role involves forecasting, planning and analysis that drive a commercially focused business and promote an optimized and focused performance culture.
Key Accountabilities
Provide financial advice and counsel to CFO and CLT and responsible for supporting the team on strategy development and execution, resource allocation, portfolio management and opportunity identification and maximization
Responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial processes, including supporting systems, for budgets (LRP/RBU), Latest forecasts and local management reports.
Leads the market Budget and Long-Range Plan submissions in accordance with defined group reporting requirements.
Leads communication and alignment regarding financial submissions requirements.
Close collaboration with GFS to ensures forecast and actual data loaded into multiple financial reporting applications and management reports is accurate and aligned.
Responsible for obtaining a solid understanding of the market and global AstraZeneca portfolio of brands and functional areas along with key business drivers, risk factors and trends and applying this knowledge.
Provide commercial insights to cross-functional teams and support business growth through rigorous evaluation of P&L, key business drivers, and understanding of risks and opportunities.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities to the planning and reporting processes.
Assist in preparation of presentations, reports and associated analysis for the market CLT, CFO and CP requests.
Supports ad-hoc reporting requirements and financial analysis for local and group management.
Perform International reporting as needed.
Be an active member in Finance meetings, providing leadership and support in initiatives that promotes organization culture that is in line with AZ values.
Provide relevant finance training to non-finance personnel when necessary.

Essential Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited College or University (degree in Finance or Accounting preferred)
8-10 years post-qualification experience, with minimum 5 years in managerial role of similar nature in commercial organizations
Skill in analysing and solving issues related to controllership areas
Experience of working with senior management in matrix environment
Desirable
Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience highly desirable
