About the role:
We are looking for someone that can inspire others, and take our creativity to a new level as we continue to grow. To meet the growing demands of graphic design to support Bank of Singapore's strategy, we are looking for a dynamic, creative and forward-thinking Senior Graphic Designer for Design & Branding (Manager) to join the Creative Marketing team. As part of the COO Office and likened to a creative arm but in-house within the Bank, Creative Marketing acts as brand guardian in partnership with OCBC Group Brand & Communications and supports the Bank in the development of key client communications and corporate/product marketing/research-based collaterals (including videos and application software i.e. apps) to promote products and services targeted at private wealth management individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Creative Marketing, this person will conceptualise, design and execute the production of corporate and marketing collaterals covering print and digital/online including application softwares (apps) across multiple channels for the Bank.
Review and approve artwork/visuals/collaterals developed by the Design & Branding team and other teams in the Bank (including copy), ensuring these effectively address objectives and the Bank's brand standards are met.
As the Creative Marketing team is the brand guardian of the Bank, to familiarise, apply and create awareness of the Bank's branding guidelines and manage branding requests and corporate guidelines enquiries.
Produce fresh, innovative work that translates the Bank's image, products and services into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences.
Stakeholder and project management- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing teams, product managers and external vendors, to ensure design solutions meet business needs and expectations.
Prioritise work and resources across initiatives based on short and long term needs and establish production schedules.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth.
Qualifications
Requirements
A Degree holder in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or relevant with strong command of English language, written and spoken as the role required to support stakeholders from various markets
5-7 years of relevant experience (preferably in the financial services industry or relevant) with 3-5 years of creative direction in an advertising agency.
Must have a natural eye for design with attention to details and a drive to inspire dynamic ideas that connect with our clients and the public, with a strong creative vision and an understanding of business objectives.
Understanding of and experience in creating integrated marketing/advertising initiatives across all marketing channels from digital covering online and social media, paid media, mobile, to offline and print (preferably in the financial industry field or relevant).
Demonstrated skill and highly competent with Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite software i.e. Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Ability to multitask and project manage from conceptualisation to completion, with excellent time management and stakeholder communications skills.
Added advantages:
Competent with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Elements 3D, 3dsMax or equivalent
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
Experience in app development, TeamSite and SharePoint
