Provide strong risk governance, robust and balanced 2nd line challenge process for non- retail credit portfolios and to ensure business development within acceptable credit appetite and portfolio metrics
Provide recommendations for improving end-to-end credit process including guidance to business units through sharing sessions and transaction structuring alternatives to balance client and risk management requirements
Provide independent credit evaluation and/ or credit approval of facilities and make sound recommendations to improve asset quality while supporting business growth of the Bank.
Participate in various working groups / committees at Bank / industry / regulatory levels
Requirements :-
Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance / Business Administration / Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 6 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience
Well versed in credit analysis and financial modelling
Extensive experience in the corporate/commercial credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, trade / working capital financing and derivative products.
Knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory issues.
