Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze global crude oil markets, including price movements, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors.
- Gather and interpret data from various sources, including industry reports, economic indicators, and market news.
- Use statistical tools and software to analyze data and identify key trends and patterns.
- Assess the impact of geopolitical events, policy changes, and economic developments on crude oil markets.
- Provide insights into how global and regional political and economic factors influence market behavior.
- Evaluate supply factors, including production capacity, strategic reserves, OPEC decisions
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports on market conditions, forecasts, and trading strategies.
- Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate exposure to price volatility.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential risks and opportunities in the market.
- Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to the development of trading and investment strategies.
Requirements:
- Degree in any International Trading, Economics or any related discipline with min 2 years of related role within oil and gas industry
- Strong working knowledge in trading platforms and data analysis tool
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
