Responsibilities:
. Manage and oversee all CSA construction activities, ensuring that civil, structural, and architectural works are completed according to the project's design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
. Supervise daily site operations to ensure CSA works are progressing as per the construction schedule and in compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
. Collaborate with the design, structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and commissioning teams to ensure that CSA systems are properly integrated into the overall project plan.
. Ensure that all CSA works meet the specified quality standards by performing regular inspections and audits of on-site construction activities and materials.
. Oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors performing CSA-related tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines, specifications, and safety requirements.
. Monitor and manage the CSA construction schedule, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and that work progresses in a timely and coordinated manner.
. Track and control the CSA-related budget, ensuring that the project remains within financial constraints, and implement corrective actions if there are potential cost overruns.
. Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and ensure CSA work activities comply with project-specific safety protocols and regulations.
. Identify potential risks to the CSA construction process and take proactive steps to mitigate issues, delays, or design conflicts. Address unforeseen challenges as they arise.
. Ensure the timely completion and handover of CSA-related components, including documentation such as as-built drawings, materials certifications, and other required reports for final client approval.
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer) are an advantage.
. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction management with a focus on CSA works, particularly in large-scale projects such as data centres, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities.
. Extensive knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural design and construction practices, with experience in managing CSA works from ground up through to finishing stages.
. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while maintaining clear and effective communication at all levels.
. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in managing complex site challenges, ensuring that CSA work is executed efficiently and safely, and resolving any issues promptly.
