The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Engineer will focus on gathering, analysing, and responding to cyber threats. The role involves threat hunting, incident response, and using various tools to identify malicious activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop threat intelligence strategies.
- Maintain and enhance threat intelligence processes and frameworks.
- Analyse data to identify patterns and trends.
- Provide actionable intelligence for threat detection and incident response.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and support recovery efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threat trends.
- Prepare and present regular reports on potential cyber threats.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years with relevant hands-on experience in threat intelligence and hunting, and well-versed in the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain, STRIDE, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Knowledge of MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines and Cybersecurity Code of Practice.
- Understanding of operating environments (Microsoft, UNIX, Linux), networking, and cyber threat intelligence processes.
- Experience with programming languages (Python, PowerShell) and cloud technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCTI, GCIA, GCIH) are a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
