How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The Customer Quality Engineer is the primary contact for resolving quality issues and concerns with customers. You will interface with management at all levels, ensure adherence to customer quality and procurement specifications, and directly handle quality issues between customers and suppliers.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related tasks, audits, and incidents.
Drive root cause analysis for quality issues and oversee implementation of product quality improvements.
Collect, analyze, and manage customer scorecards; ensure they are communicated to the Subsidiary Quality Management Representative.
Interpret customer feedback within internal manufacturing sites, addressing change management, discrepant materials, and product qualifications.
Relay specific customer requirements for business continuity to the Business Risk Analysis team.
Alert managers to halt any non-compliant operations or activities and oversee corrective actions.
Facilitate and report on Quality Improvement Report (QIR)/Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) investigations, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
Resolve customer and supplier quality issues, and monitor progress against measurable objectives for customer satisfaction.
Define and manage Ship to Control/Out of Control expectations, and review product statistical process control (SQC) data to identify statistical trends.
Lead internal cross-functional teams across multiple locations to address customer quality issues and manage continual improvement efforts based on customer commitments, employing Quality Assurance fundamentals like ISO 9000, FMECA, 5-Why, and 8D methodologies.
Are you a MATCH
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Engineering or a related field.
Have 1 to 3 years of relevant operational or QA experience in the semiconductor sector.
Proficient in Quality Assurance fundamentals, including Quality Improvement Teams, Quality Circles, ISO 9000, FMECA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Responsive with a service-oriented mindset.
Possess skills in analysis, planning, and implementation.
Understanding of quality expectations within the semiconductor industry.
