About The Role
The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused
solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Communicate with customer, warehouse and forwarder in day to day operations
- Validating shipping documents from vendors, ensuring document completeness and accuracy adhering to SOP
- Advise vendor the mode of transports based on guidelines
- Liaising with vendors / forwarders on shipment arrangements
- Monitoring of shipment status and to address custom clearance issues promptly
- Reporting tasks (Extracting of reports from portal)
- Other ad hoc - Further duties to be identified in due course
Requirements
The successful candidate
- Preferably Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply chain
- Candidate with minimum 2-3 years experience
- He/She must equip with effective communication and collaboration skills to work with vendor, supply chain
team, marketing team and freight forwarders.
- Candidates to equip with basic MS Office skills
