About the role
The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused
solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.
What you will be doing
Communicate with customer, warehouse and forwarder in day to day operations
Validating shipping documents from vendors, ensuring document completeness and accuracy adhering to SOP
Advise vendor the mode of transports based on guidelines.
Liaising with vendors / forwarders on shipment arrangements
Monitoring of shipment status and to address custom clearance issues promptly.
Reporting tasks (Extracting of reports from portal)
Other ad hoc - Further duties to be identified in due course.
Requirements
The successful candidate
Preferably Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply chain
Candidate with minimum 2-3 years experience
He/She must equip with effective communication and collaboration skills to work with vendor, supply chain
team, marketing team and freight forwarders.
Candidates to equip with basic MS Office skills
