Job Description- Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding / Transportation
Position Title: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
- Working Location: Jurong East
Working Hours:
- 25 days (Monday to Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, Alternate Saturdays half day)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,000 + AWS + Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Coordinate shipment schedules, bookings, and document preparation required for international shipping (air, sea, and road transport).- Ensure accurate and timely data entry for tracking shipments, processing orders, and providing quotes.
Work closely with customs brokers to help clear goods through customs, providing necessary documentation and information as needed.
- Monitor shipments from the point of origin to the final destination, proactively communicating any delays and managing client expectations.
Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to enhance their logistics experience.- Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process in a timely and effective manner.
Prepare reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Experience in Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.
Basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.- Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues.
