You will report to the Business Development Manager and will assist to answer questions from customer about our company's products and/or services.
Delivering information about our company's offering, understanding potential customer's needs to pitch for new sales. And support existing customers by helping them to resolve their service issue, determining the root cause, rectifying the necessary and explanation or addressing the matter if required. Contact relevant internal stakeholder to rectify and then clarifying with customer, quickly escalate the situation internally for customer if necessary, and follow up with internal stakeholder and customer until customer issue has been resolved.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate for sales team by managing schedules, filing confidential documents and communicating important and relevant information.
- Price update to internal stakeholders and system. (Monthly, quarterly or new model)
- Update sales performance (weekly) and record sales department KPI
- Generate reports (Weekly & monthly basis)
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments on sales planning
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, manage all incoming customer queries, issues or grievances with patience, positivity and professionalism over the phone and/or via emails
- Keep records of customer interactions, record details of inquiries or complaints and actions taken by relevant colleagues
- Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers issues or requests and that customer issue has been revolved successfully
- Report unresolved customer grievances or special requests to Business Development Manager for further investigations
- Communicate with customers to chase payment for unpaid invoices while maintaining professionalism and strong customer relationships.
- Any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / O Level / NITEC or recognised diploma in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position
- Experience in international movements of goods, freight forwarding or logistics industry would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Mature, detail oriented & well organized able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good team player, positive attitude and willing to learn
- Skilled in working cross culturally and in developing relationships with colleagues
- Preferably Junior Executive Level
