Title: Customer Service Lead (Global Lifescience Manufacturing Business)

Location: Singapore

About the role:

Our client is a well-known Global Lifescience Manufacturing business, with exciting growth plans in Asia and beyond. The company has a significant presence in Singapore and the rest of Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing high quality manufacturing and customized life sciences solutions, and takes pride in ensuring optimized end-to-end supply chain and procurement excellence to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Customer Service Lead, who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain processes and order fulfilment excellence work flow. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Operations Manager, this position will be focusing on the below:

  • Lead and ensure smooth Quote to Cash order processing and effective cross border distribution fulfilment activities by working closely with commercial leaders essentially to support business expansion and growth
  • Partner closely with related functions such as Warehouse Management and Logistics teams to drive entire customer purchase order (PO) lifecycle, from booking to shipment execution within the APAC region, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations ensuring swift resolution in collaboration with manufacturing plants, commercial teams, or finance departments
  • Active involvement in enabling smooth Operations Audits where required, by means of enabling strategic partnership with assigned 3PLs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Management experiences in a complex Manufacturing environment
  • Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Supply Chain Excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to important stakeholders
  • Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
