Responsibilities
- Analyse and identify security gaps in existing data centers and cloud infrastructures.
- Perform risk assessments to mitigate security risks in information systems and processes.
- Lead system security testing to ensure all security requirements are met before deployment.
- Work with development and engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Develop and maintain security policies to comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Advise on security architecture and design to ensure robust protection mechanisms.
- Manage vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Create and deliver security training programs for employees and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies, recommending improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing incident response plans and participate in investigation.
Requirements
- Expertise in information security, including risk assessment, system security acceptance testing, security-by-design principles, professional certifications (CISSP, CISM), and deep knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and the Cybersecurity Act of 2018.
- Proficient in security tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, Wazuh), technological architectures (on-premises data centers and cloud), and capable of explaining complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
