ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
As a Graduate in the Security Operations Center (SOC), you will assist the SOC team in protecting critical infrastructure by actively monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. You will work closely with the team to ensure a high standard of service delivery, directly contributing to incident response and security operations. Your role will involve using advanced tools and processes to identify potential risks, respond to incidents, and help improve the security posture of our clients.
Reporting to the Service and Operations Manager, you will be part of the SITA SOC team responsible for securing network infrastructure and safeguarding global aviation operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
WHO YOU ARE
. University Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
. A strong interest in cybersecurity, with knowledge of key concepts such as threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
. Basic understanding of computer networking, including Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and security protocols.
. Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
. A keen interest in learning cloud security (Azure/AWS) and working with both public and private cloud infrastructures.
. Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
. Participate in structured rotations within the SOC, gaining exposure to different teams and security technologies.
. Be paired with a Buddy and a Mentor who will guide you throughout your graduate experience.
. An 18-month contractual assignment with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in security operations.
. Shift-based work (7:45am - 4:35pm / 12:00 noon - 8:45pm), alternating every week, on-call standby with one weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday) per month
