Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Carbon Modeler to join our sustainability team in Singapore. This role will involve working on projects related to carbon footprint calculation, emissions reduction strategies, and sustainability reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement carbon models to measure and analyze the carbon footprint of our operations.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and interpretation of carbon emissions across various stages of the supply chain.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and develop strategies to achieve sustainability targets.
- Prepare detailed reports on carbon emissions, sustainability initiatives, and progress towards goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and best practices in carbon modeling and sustainability.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners, to support sustainability projects.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on carbon accounting and sustainability practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in carbon modeling, environmental analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting principles, greenhouse gas protocols, and sustainability frameworks.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, R, Python, or specialized carbon modeling software).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint analysis.
- Familiarity with international sustainability standards and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, TCFD).
