About the role
Reporting to the Vice President, Ocean, this role will analyse carriers service profiles, data sets, and market trends to provide information to our Regional Ocean Freight team for strategic business decisions. This 6-month full-time internship will commence in January
What you will be doing
Space utilisation analysis
To provide support for the performance analysis of CEVA's utilisation versus carriers allocation
Formulate presentations for the team and management on a bi-monthly basis
Participate in space meeting discussions
Blank sailing updates/port omission
Update blank sailings or port omissions in sharepoint for TLM/ Procurement team to view
Participate in Trade Performance Centre (TPC) meetings
Work with TPC leaders/team to provide analysis on the carriers non-performance in terms of equipment release/ space release
Requirements
The successful applicant
Essential
Currently an undergraduate studying Business Management, Data Analytics or related fields
Enjoys working with numbers
Good working knowledge of Tableau and Excel
Desirable
Organized, meticulous and analytical
Able to work independently and in a team
Keen to learn, fast learner
Good interpersonal and communications skills.
Fluent oral, written and presentation skills in English.
