The Data Analytics Lead will spearhead the analytics team, ensuring that data-driven insights are effectively used to shape company strategy and drive business outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, reporting, and analytics tools to enhance decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work cross-functionally and deliver high-quality analytics projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the data analytics team to deliver actionable insights that support business decisions and improve company performance.
- Develop and implement analytics strategies and frameworks to solve complex business problems.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Finance) to identify data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency by defining best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members to enhance their analytical and technical skills.
- Present findings to senior management, providing strategic recommendations based on data insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve the team's capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in data analytics and visualization tools, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions, cloud platforms and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate findings in a clear, actionable manner.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, enabling effective communication across multilingual teams and stakeholders.
