Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Data Center Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support for deploying on-site data center physical infrastructure.
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware components.
- Manage data-bearing devices such as hard drives and solid-state drives.
- Operate within a ticket-based system to address and resolve issues.
- Move equipment using pallet jacks or other lifting aids as needed.
- Assist the Data Center Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory management during high work volumes.
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in IT Support and Monitoring.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
- Min 6 months of experience in handling or maintaining technical equipment or machinery.
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
- Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, and work at heights, with or without equipment assistance.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 5,200 +AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
