Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and support of data center physical infrastructure.
- Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware components.
- Handle data-bearing devices, including hard drives and SSDs.
- Operate within a ticket-based environment for task management.
- Use pallet jacks or other lifting tools to move equipment safely.
- Support the Data Center Inventory and Asset Management Team in managing inventory and shipping tasks during peak times.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or holidays when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in IT Support or Monitoring (fresh graduates with a proactive mindset are encouraged to apply).
- Six months or more in handling technical equipment or machinery.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and components.
- Preferred certifications include CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting frequently, with or without equipment assistance.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Enthusiasm for learning and expanding technical skills.
