The Role:
. Support the deployment of physical infrastructure within the data center.
. Install, replace, and troubleshoot cables and hardware.
. Handle data-bearing devices (e.g., hard drives, solid-state drives).
. Operate within a ticket-based support environment.
. Move equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting devices.
. Assist the Data Centre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping, receiving, and inventory management, especially during high-volume periods.
. Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ideal Candidate:
Education / Experience:
. Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
. Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support & Monitoring (Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply).
Skill Sets:
. Basic understanding of computer hardware and components.
. At least 6 months of experience handling or maintaining technical equipment or machinery.
. 1+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technologies.
. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, or Network+, and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC) are a plus.
. Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights, with or without equipment assistance.
. Effective communication skills.
. Proficiency in written and oral English to support regional and global teams.
. A strong desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
